Our Superior range of sheds is a bespoke, heavy duty, market leading range. Our Classic Range compliments theSuperior Sheds by providing a lower cost option which is still a solid, dependable building, using shiplap that is of a higher quality than the wood traditionally used in the shed market. We now also offer our National Trust range of sheds, inspired by ages gone by and intended as a pretty gardeners shed.

Crane Garden Buildings

Crane Garden Buildings is a family run business and we have been making timber buildings in Norfolk for over 40 years. We are a market leader in producing high quality timber buildings of all types.

We are proud to acknowledge that much of our trade is built around our reputation. We firmly believe that this is because we provide a personal service from design stage to installation, where the customer always comes first and is delighted with their building.

Our buildings are exceptional and unrivalled. We are always in the market place ensuring that any improvements in products, techniques and components are implemented by us straight away. We employ skilled craftsmen and a well regarded installation team to finish your building to the very highest of our expected standards.

We manufacture all our buildings to order so if our standard buildings are not quite what you have in mind then we are very happy to discuss your requirements. These are just some of the reasons why we are better:

Timber - We are an FSC® certified company and we partner a timber mill in North Sweden who are also FSC certified thus ensuring a constant supply of high quality certified timber managed in a sustainable way.

We use Scots Pine that is sourced from an area of forest that has often been growing for more than 130 years at latitudes above 65° North. In these conditions the trees are slowly grown making the timber more dense which ensures a high quality, close grain less susceptible to dead knots.

The thickness of our timber in terms of the walls, floor, roof, framework and the general quality of our construction means that our buildings are exceptionally strong and robust and we strongly recommend viewing them.

Joinery- We hand make our buildings in our workshops. Skilled carpenters make the doors and windows for all the buildings that we produce. This ensures that the high quality we demand is met and that we can make bespoke doors and windows to our customers requirements.

Roof Coverings- We offer a variety of roof coverings from extreme wear, heavy duty felt to Cedar Shingles, Slate Effect tiles and Green Living roofs.

Lining and Insulation – We offer and some buildings have as standard, a 3 stage lining and insulation process which means that you can use your building year round and it looks beautiful too. The finish can be painted for a light and airy look or left natural for a warm feel.

Paint Systems – We offer our unique Valtti paint system which has an unrivalled longevity and protection and is available in many beautiful colours to compliment your surroundings.

Security Pack-For our exceptionally strong and robust Sheds and Workshops we offer a 3 step Security Pack consisting of window bars mortised into the window frames, non-returnable screws used on the hinges and a heavy duty, 7 lever sliding bolt (anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping and anti-prising).

Bespoke-We offer a comprehensive range of buildings as standard but as we build each building as it is ordered you can have yours exactly as you would like it.

Delivery and Installation -Our experienced and professional fitters deliver and install all our buildings free of charge.
